Job Holder Requirements
Formal qualifications:
- Qualification in rigging/rigging, with at least three (3) years of experience in diversified industrial/mining environments, including at least five (5) years in a supervisory and management role of: mobile cranes (up to 80 tonnes), telescopic manipulators, forklifts, electric hoists and overhead cranes.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse work team.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skills in machinery and equipment.
- Skills in methods and techniques.
- Planning skills.
- Systems/process and procedural skills.
- Technical communication skills.
- Concern for safety and the environment.
- English proficiency.
- Basic understanding of process plant operating requirements.
- Good understanding and use of a computer-aided maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Mobile crane operator license (80 tonnes).
- Senegalese or international driving license for light vehicle.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Good understanding of:
• Completion of Risk and Hazard Assessments (JSEA).
• Work permits.
• Lockout procedures.
• Carrying out critical risk identification.
• Workshop management.
• Prioritization of critical equipment.
• Assistance with the ICAM investigation from the Maintenance Superintendent/Directorate when necessary.
